Service Description
Embrace the process of shaping your thoughts into works of art with this 8 week hand building class. Dive into the rhythm of clay while fostering mindfulness and self-expression. Discover the empowering synergy of art and personal wellbeing by exploring belief systems of perfectionism while cultivating self-love and compassion through playful expression. This course is designed for beginners, starting with fundamental techniques crafted by hand. Students will learn what it takes to build a clay project from start to finish! All tools and supplies are included. This class will meet once a week for 8 weeks. Located at The Clay Den pottery studio, 10 minutes south of Saskatoon off Tamke Road in the RM of Dundurn. Exact directions will be sent with the confirmation email. Must be 16+ *If you have mobility issues, please contact me prior to booking. This is a country studio and does have a gravel driveway.
Cancellation Policy
Please ensure prior to signing up that you are able to attend all or most of the class dates. Ceramics are completed on a weekly basis, missing a class may mean your pieces become too dry to finish If a class is cancelled by The Clay Den, an alternate class date will be offered. We do our best to avoid holidays when scheduling. A class can be refunded with written notice one full week (7 days) prior to the start date. A 50% refund is available with written notice within 6-2 days prior to the start date. There is no refund available after the class start date. In the event of a true unavoidable emergency, all or part of the class fee may be reimbursed. This is decided on a case by case basis.
